PROJET
TERMINÉ
General objective of the project: prevention of school leaving on short and medium term by increasing with at least 10% the retention rate untill 2020.
Specific objectives:
OS1 – gaining knowledge and practical ideas to incorporate ICT in each discipline
OS2 – exchange of experience in cooperative and collaborative learning
OS3 – change of teacher’s behaviour in order to avoid digital barriers
Operational objectives:
Oop1 - mobility of 11 teachers in school year 2015-2016 to a European country in order to develop competences and skills in Web 2.0., social networking, blogging, web sites, smart board
Oop2 – initiation of a strategic partnership Erasmus+ KA2 in school year 2015-2016 for implementing interactive activities within the classroom and sharing best practice in teaching and learning using ICT
Oop3 - coordination of 2 etwinning projects in school year 2016-2017 to promote the use of Web 2.0 technologies within classroom
Oop4 – elaboration until end of schoolyear 2015-2016, by all participants, of a course designed to help all teachers to use ICT tools through Web 2.0., Social networking, blogging, websites, smartboard in order to present 2 training activities in school
Oop5 – setting up a database until end of schoolyear 2016-2017 with 2 interactive lessons/class
Participants in project have been 11 teachers of all subjects from Liceul Tehnologic Francisc Neuman Arad, in a training course of 50 hours in Spain, designed to help teachers to start using Web 2.0 technologies and to create digital classrooms.
We succeeded training a teacher team that: knows fundamentals about virtual classrooms; advantages of using Web 2.0 with interactive groups; can implement ICT; uses blogs, Twitter; creates virtual lessons through cooperation; has a larger view for the changes offered by the potential of ICT, motivation to continue and succeed in lifelong learning and European programs.
Long term benefits regarding teachers, students, school organisation and comunity: a network of multipliers for digital classrooms; a modern educational process with interdisciplinary approaches; actively involved students; developing of creativity, critical thinking, team work, motivation and self trust, which lead to reduced school leaving, increased profesional insertion and integration on the labor market, a larger participation in social, cultural and economic life of the comunity, thus avoiding social exclusion. Not at least, developing partnerships at the level of inter- and trans-school relations and access to global comunication.
