Date du début: 1 janv. 2015, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Europe is facing a difficult situation in terms of economic and social problems, unemployment, political disaffection, cultural crisis, etc. This conjunction has affected mainly young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. A possibility for them is represented by the development of social entrepreneurship projects that, based on democratic principles, achieve social aims of common interest. Facing the necessity to inform, advice and support on the best effective way the youngsters, improving our job, we have developed this project about methodologies on social entrepreneurship, focused on youth people with fewer opportunities, whose main aims are: - To analyse benefits, strengths and weakness of social entrepreneurship activities and/or projects developed by young people. - To acquire new skills in order to attend and advise young people with fewer opportunities, supporting them in the process of social inclusion. - To exchange good practices to develop new educational tools, strategies and an innovative methodology to improve the participation of young people with fewer opportunities in social entrepreneurship projects. - To know in contest the work that is carried out by partner organisations, examples of social entrepreneurship and put into practice new skills and proposals appeared during the training course. This project consists of two main activities, a training course in which all the organisations will take part with two youth workers/leaders and a young person with fewer opportunities (two for AIIJ) and a job shadowing. The training course will take place in March 2015 in Málaga and contents connected with social entrepreneurship, opportunities and weakness when the leader is a young person, specific needs, inclusion tools, resources and measure to deal with young people with fewer opportunities, etc. It will be analysed also the work methodology of each country, exchanging good practices and presenting concrete examples. Finally, it will be carried out a global analysis of common strategies to improve initiative and social entrepreneurship of young people with fewer opportunities. After the training course, a youth worker of each interested organisations will carry out a two months job shadowing period. We wish participants could know the partner’s working methodology in contest, its good practices, examining its activities and gaining new skills. Thank to this project, every participant will gain new skills required to analyse and promote social entrepreneurship projects and/or activities carried out by young people with fewer opportunities. These new skills will be used to carry out these projects with more effectiveness and success, contributing to social transformation. With the tools, resources, measures and good practices exchanged during the training course and the job shadowing period, youth workers/leaders will gain new skills, useful to carry out a better work of support, motivation and follow-up with young people with fewer opportunities on their projects or activities of social entrepreneurship, helping them in their social inclusion process. We decide to involve also young people as participants in order to consider social entrepreneurship as a possible and real tools and a chance for their professional development. We think that this project has a significant impact also on partner organisations since that results will be shared with all other workers and interested people, producing a multiplier effect. The participants’ environment of origin will also receive an impact and a multiplier effect. With the new skills developed during the project we expect young people launch an initiative and developing their sense of entrepreneurship, using it to answer existing problems in their communities and/or paying attention to social needs.
