Mentors for Parents
To develop a workshop for older people 50+ to work in a voluntary capacity as mentors for parents. To teach them stages of child development, strategies for positive parenting and mentoring skills to disseminate this information to parents they mentor from the community. Our project will explore European perspectives on parenting and develop a programme to develop mentors who then can work with parents in disadvantaged communities.
