Date du début: 1 sept. 2010, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2012 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The main objective of the project is to present the vision of future materials and manufacturing: activities under the theme NMP of FP7 Cooperation Specific Programme, and their role in further growth of Europe - building smarter, greener and more competitive European industry. The objectives will be achieved in frame of two conferences: Future Materials (Fumat 2011) and Manufuture 2011, organization of which is proposed during the Polish Presidency in the EU (autumn 2011).The future materials and manufacturing are of high relevance for the European economy in the broadest sense as materials and products are almost omnipresent in our daily lives. Discussing these issues by different stakeholders during conferences under M-Future 2011 may help define strategic directions of research in these domains for the years to come in view of the Lund Declaration and “EU2020” Strategy. The conference Manufuture 2011 will be organized under the patronage of ETP on the Future Manufacturing Technologies: MANUFUTURE and the conference Fumat 2011 with engagement of ETP on Advanced Engineering Materials and Technologies EuMaT. Also the European Material Research Society (EMRS) and European Materials Forum (EMF) will provide its contribution. With the support of the two ETPs and the umbrella of the EC the European dimension will be assured. The involvement of national and regional authorities will result in a significant political impact of the event. In view of globalization the international networking, inside Europe and beyond, is a source for fruitful economical development in the EU. Creating synergies by cooperation in materials and manufacturing R&D will help European industries, including SMEs, to face global competitors on the market with more strength. The 2011 conference will deliver ideas how to strengthen and turn into European success cooperation with East European countries.
