Project “Marker CS vol.2” is a long-term training course for youth workers. It is based on needs assessment done by the coordinator along with the partner organisation. The main issue in the assessment was quality of non-formal education in youth work, which is also the theme that we want to support through this project in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The partner organisations (ANEV - Association of non-formal education and Youth Watch) are starting a long-term conceptual cooperation by this project.The project will take place from summer 2016 to spring 2018 and includes 4 activities. Main objectives are as follows: A1 – Partners' meetingOrganizers and trainers of this project will attend A2 in order to harmonize the team and properly plan Activities 2 to 4, ensure accreditation of the course and plan possibilities for long-term cooperation.A2 – A4 – Long-term training courseMain objectives are as follows:- To understand how to properly develop an educational activity- To be able to plan, implement and evaluate high-quality non-formal educational activities with support of a trainer or a colleague- To deepen competences connected to working with a group (group dynamics, facilitation, presentation) - To understand the rules of interpersonal individual feedback and to be able to use it in practice - To realize the importance of promotion of the participants’ activities and dissemination of their impact, to introduce suitable tools for promotion and DEOR- To realize one’s educational (including ethical) approach in youth work - To be able to use acquired competencies to improve quality of activities in their organisations The project is planned for 25 participants, 13 from CZ and 12 from SK. Participants will be older than 17 years, with minimum 2 years of experience in youth work and active involvement in an organisation, in which they can immediately implement what they have learnt during the course. The methodology is based on non-formal education and the activities will comprise of many creative and interactive methods. Due to the long-term nature of the course, the participants will be able to experience a range of methods, techniques and activities of non-formal education, such as Open Space Technology, Appreciative Inquiry, coaching, group discussions etc. and try some of them by themselves.
