Make it Work - Meaningful work and (re)integration programmes for marginalised and vulnerable groups
Date du début: 1 déc. 2012,

Active citizenship, participation and integration in the labour market are important priorities of national and European policies. However, there are various groups in society that need specific attention and support to realise their involvement and integration. This applies in particular to drug and alcohol users, homeless people and people with mental disorders, who often live on the margins of society. The main aim of INWORK is to improve the participation and integration of these groups through the development and documentation of tailored learning programmes.INWORK aims:- to provide the final beneficiaries - marginalised an vulnerable groups - with opportunities and pathways to improve their knowledge and competences and to reduce their distance to the labour market; - to contribute to sustainable empowerment, social inclusion, participation, active citizenship and social cohesion in Europe;- to provide adult trainers, working with marginalised and vulnerable groups with tools for the development and implementation of sustainable work- and (re)integration programmes;- to stimulate, boost and support the development of sustainable work, (re)integration and peer work programmes throughout Europe. The INWORK project will join the forces, skills and experiences of the project partners to address the issues of active citizenship, participation and integration in the labour market at European level. The output of the project will consist of three main elements:- an overview of examples of best practice regarding participation and integration;- a toolbox for trainers who work with marginalised and vulnerable groups;- a tailored Grundtvig training course for service providers, social entrepreneurs and policy makers, who intent to develop participation programmes for marginalised and vulnerable groups. All elements will be developed in close cooperation with the project partners, other stakeholders and members of the target population.
