PROJET
TERMINÉ
We consider identity in school cluster (AE) a practice and a culture that values openness to innovation, the desire to do better by sharing experiences, doing everything in a sustainable way. The AE is still featured by an international dimension and the promotion of European citizenship and currently, the AE feels very motivated by the process of recovery its internationalization. This European mobility plan contributes to the achievement of some of the objectives of its educational project (cf. http://crelorosae.net/joomla/index.php/documentos). The AE intends to keep its European dimension by developing the following strategic areas:
- Respecting the cultures and habits of other European partners stimulating a pedagogical practice based on the values of tolerance and respect, thus contributing to the elimination of stereotypes and prejudices in the educational community;
- Integrating students in projects with a European dimension;
- Encouraging collaborative work processes using the eTwinning platform and other online networks.
A proposal for mobility of 11 teachers (about 10% of AE teachers) who will participate in three European courses suitable for their training needs and the objectives described above, to be held in Finland and Canary Islands (New learning environments; "School management and Healthy teachers - Healthy school "). The choice of these participants was made according to the AE training needs described above, from an invitation issued to the group of teachers.
To accomplish this project and achieve these goals, a European partner was elected which would guarantee excellent results. Finland was chosen for being a universally acknowledged fact that it is, repeatedly, one of the world's countries in which students have better results in PISA tests and whose teaching quality is considered exemplary. It is also commonly referred that teacher training is exemplary in that country and they choose the best to teach. Finally, echoes about the quality and accuracy of management are worthy of mention in most educational forums.
We know that the organizer of the courses, "EduKarjala", has already 20 years of experience in the management of programs: Lifelong Learning (LLP), adult education and European study visits organization and that this organization has the support and partnership of the University of Eastern Finland. We have reasons to believe in both the quality of courses and in the training organizers, as well as in the richness of the practical course content.
This project gives teachers also the opportunity to share and discuss with other participants the issues of training, to upgrade skills and professional profiles, to improve the quality of professional development.
It is enhanced the appreciation of the teaching profession through motivation and personal and professional satisfaction and a very positive impact on teaching practice (creation of new learning environments, promoting innovation and excellence, appreciation of healthy lifestyle practices, ...) and the daily relationships established between peers, with students and others members from the educational community.
The contact with other partners will allow a greater understanding of the policies of organizations and a greater empowerment of the action at European level. Informal conversations are also a benefit, allowing the development of English language proficiency and the discovery of new forms of cooperation, which will greatly contribute to the construction of a European scale and identity.
Because of this internationalization, the school cluster expects that research, reflections, training and the developed new practices / products practices / products have relevance and applicability, can be transferred to the practices of other European countries.
The group is committed to promote the development of the project on the web page, social networks and other usual means of communication. A handbook with the project’s best practices will be published.
