Maigaia Ecofeminismo
Date du début: 17 juin 2014, Date de fin: 16 nov. 2014 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Environmental degradation contributes to increase the differences between social groups. The mobilizations of women in different ecological conflicts are an obvious reality. There are good organizations with concrete results that support the existing actions, while there is a theoretical framework to sustain it: the ecofeminism. In the specific situation of environmental impacts and their relation to social and gender inequality, as young and involved people, we try to give voice to these new possibilities of seeing the world. "We have seen for too long the world through the eyes of men" We have seen the world too long through the eyes of men" (1988) Collard. C Our project will be developed mainly in Tomiño , located in the Baixo Miño , in the southwest of Galicia. Also, given the location of this border town, we will also develop some activity in Vilanova de Cerveira (Portugal) and other nearby municipalities. Our district is largely rural, so the population is in direct contact with the environment. In addition to the specific objectives followed in each activity or workshop, other general objectives include: - Foster mutual understanding between young people from different countries, joining forces in the fight against the oppression of women and environmental exploitation; - To promote the active citizenship of young people, promoting the participation of the general population; - Educating for tolerance, respect and solidarity; - Develop intercultural learning knowledge by sharing it among project participants. - Include the participation of young people with fewer social and economic opportunities, geographic obstacles, and educational difficulties; - Encourage the connection of youth in the region because it is a dispersed geographic area; - Promote an education committed to the environment and gender equality; - To encourage the spirit of initiative of youth through this project as well as their creativity and entrepreneurship; - Promote the Erasmus+ program and realize activities in order to present it. This project will take place from June 30, 2014 to July 6, 2014 and there will participate three countries: Estonia, Poland and Spain. The total number of participants is 20. The activities that we will perform are: Dynamics of presentation, lecture-building workshop to create an orchard, video forum, creating ashtrays from cans, garbage collection in kayak, performances, workshop of natural cosmetics, workshop of natural remedies, workshop of distillation, dance therapy workshop, visit to an organic productor, creation and use of seed bombs in Teton (check out the mountain "Teton"), species recognition workshop, theatre play, gymkhana, sexist games (analysis and deconstruction), lip-dub, development workshop of coriander, witches' Sabbath, tourism "ecoartivista". In the presented methodology the participation of all stakeholders in the design, implementation and evaluation is essential, with an emphasis on the work in networks. Our active methods for non-formal education facilitate the systematic educational organization created outside the framework of the formal system to facilitate learning of the participating youth and the general population. We must consider the "white book" when the following highlights: "the importance of the educational processes in the juvenile stage, which constitute one of the main living spaces for its development, since education is a crucial stage for young people"
