Säästvad Ehituslahendused LLC (SE; Sustainable Building Solutions) has organised courses about natural building since its founding in 2007. Using natural building materials and techniques is beneficial for people, houses and environment, and SE promotes it in all its courses. The courses are meant for adults who would like to get theoretical knowledge and practical skills in different fields of natural building. Many seminars and workshops are carried out by the SE's workers who have years of practical experiences about using natural building materials. The topics about what the courses are carried out, have remained quite the same during the years. The aim of the project "Loodusliku viimistluse täiendkoolitused" ("Supplementary courses about natural finishing") is to expand those topics. During the project two workers of SE, who this far have carried out many courses, get new or additional knowledge in the following topics: lime plaster, tadelakt, marmorino, stucco lustro. For this they take part from courses in Spain, Germany and Sweden. As the result the participants of the study visit have better competence for instructing courses about natural fine finishing techniques. Before the visits the project coordinator introduces to the participants the culture of the countries to be visited and the course programme. After the visits there are in-house information seminars where the participants share their experiences to the other members of the company. As the result of the study visits SE takes new topics to its course programme. The new courses will be about stucco lustro and marmorino, also there will be more specific courses about lime plaster and tadelakt. Another result is the increase of the ability of the project participants to carry out international courses, to spread those topics in a foreign language (English). The target group of the courses of SE will be wider, the new topics bring new people to the courses and there are better possibilities for people who do not speak Estonian, as the lecturers are able to carry out courses parallelly in English. A longer perspective of SE is internationalisating the courses and promoting natural building all over Europe. This will create a better life environment and healthier building, also the knowledge of people will be increased.
