LONG LIFE TRAINIING AS A TOOL FOR IMPROVEMENT OF EMPLOYABILITY AND COMPETITIVENESS (EMPLOCOMP)

The project aims to invest in human resources skills development with focus on environmentally-friendly, extroverted entrepreneurship skills which can significantly contribute to a balance and sustainable territorial development and mitigate regional disparities.The entrepreneurship skills development will be achieved through lifelong modular training. To this aim a lifelong learning Centre offering continuous training to human resources according to the needs of the rural labour market will be set up. Good practices in the development of regional entrepreneurship partnerships and strategies that support business innovation and foster an entrepreneurial culture in rural areas will be identified and defused among the partners. Instruments for promoting the involvement of local stakeholders and citizens in order to enhance the EU citizenship will be created and used. Flexible training (seminars, workshops and study visits) is previewed to be executed for a total of 469 trainees (Greece 190 & Bulgaria 279), mostly young and women in 20 groups for an average 50 hours per attendee. A lifelong learning motivators’ network will provide additional assistance in each partner’s area, contributing to the implementation of the training actions. Expected Results: The direct and immediate effects resulting the project are: - Enhancing Competitiveness via Enterpreneurship, Networking and Human Resources of 10 groups in the regions of the Greek Partners, and 10 groups in Bulgaria -Identifying good practices and achieve their dissemination via the conference - Contributing to growth of a additional useful local experience and know how on issues of professional training - Improvement of cross-border mobility and development of the LLL motivators’ network in each partner area, which after the project completion will function as a ‘local observatory’ to scout and motivate the labour force in entrepreneurship & ‘green enterpreneurship’ skills development - Active involvement of area's entrepreneurs, members of partners' association, that will contribute to project results - 60% of the project beneficiaries will be women and will be supported to balance family, work and training needs.The indirect benefits could be:The innovative character of the expected results of skills development concerns all sectors of the economy: primary (organic agriculture), secondary (energy production, energy conservation and recycling), tertiary (trade in green products) and quaternary (certification, communication etc), offering the opportunities for sustainable employment to 469 attendants unemployed,employees, self-employed entrepreneurs, especially within the current global financial & economic crisis. The intercultural collaboration between social partners, local authorities and LLL institutions, in European Qualification Framework, which promote the mobility in cross-border area. The development of links between entrepreneurship and ‘green entrepreneurship’ skills development based on Social Corporate Responsibility which improve the quality of life cross-border area.
