The project involves students of Technical School of Logistics and Technical School of Hairdressing in Bielsko - Biała Department of Zakład Doskonalenia Zawodowego w Katowicach. Students will continue their studies during the 2015/2016 school year in the second and third classes. Spain and Valencia have been selected as their place of practise. There are 30 participants. At the beginning there was a decision to divide the students into 2 groups: 15 students from Technical School of Logistics and 15 students from Technical School of Hairdressing . Unfortunately, there were not enough candidates from our hairdressing department. According to our agreement with the agency, we divided students into 22 students from Technical School of Logistics and 8 students from Technical School of Hairdressing. The term of the practice is scheduled for 2015. The subject of foreign practices involves apprenticeship in logistics and hairdressing companies. In addition to the knowledge and skills provided in the program, practices include: a) for logistics: - Planning, organization, implementation and control of logistics project. For example by taking part in a mass event, b) for hairdressing: - Planning, organization and implementation of activities related to the visage, styling, makeup and customer face care, Internship program meets the current requirements of both the European market and TSL or hairdressing – cosmetic industry. The problem arises when we consider the new challenges, logistics or hairdressing innovations, the use of modern equipment and cooperation with enterprises. The young people are not able to learn independently, especially at the beginning of their career. Moreover, they cannot take advantages of opportunities created by market companies without the help of school and apprenticeships, including abroad apprenticeships. The main objectives obtained during the project include: a) Acquaintance with the organization and operation of logistics companies, including organization mass event, documentation flow, customer service and sourcing or the performance of modern equipment and technical devices used in logistics and information systems that supports the flow of information in logistics by assisting and observing workstations. b) the acquisition of additional skills in make-up and styling, learning the basics and the ability of successful selection of customer’s clothing depending on the occupied position, occasion, age and situation; moreover: - Free use of foreign languages, - Increasing of the attractiveness of vocational education, - Obtaining knowledge and skills in order to increase students’ competitiveness in the labour market, - Developing skills necessary for students’ future work, including work in teams, organizational skills, networking and negotiation, - Deepening and widening of theoretical knowledge acquired by teaching practical skills, - Knowledge of the principles of organization and mechanisms of functioning of companies, hairdressing salons and European institutions, - The acquisition of foreign customer service skills, - The possibility of observing the work of professionals and employment in the European labour market Participation in the project provided such results as: - Ability to identify, and (if possible) the use of modern equipment and technical devices, such as barcode readers, RFID readers, forklifts, - The ability to perform the tasks such as inventory logistics or distribution of goods in a storage area, - Familiarization with the specific work of a stylist, customer service skills with attention to the selection of makeup to the proposed haircut - Transfer of knowledge to students of logistics and hairdressing classes - Obtaining a certificate confirming the acquired skills - Making of the catalogue showing the students’ practical participation in the course, - Making of the panels showing the logistics and hairdressing informations, - Participation of students in the Competition makeup, organized by the school. In addition, the students received certificates confirming participation in the project : - Certificate confirming the participation in the project, - Certificate confirming participation in the language course, - Certificate confirming the internship from the Spanish Employers, - Certificate confirming the conquest of the proposed amount of ECVET points in skills and techniques of logistics services and hairdressing techniques, - Europass Mobility document, - The Europass CV.
