The project is to support, in order to improve the quality of life of people with some intellectual disability and / or mental illness and the various groups of our organization, in diferent services from the organization; School, Daily Care Center, Residence and leisure and sports activities.The main tasks for the volunteers will be to follow up the groups in the different activities and consequently support the team of professionals responsible. The team of professionals in different services and groups are people with many resources and ongoing training and professional development, it makes easier the tasks for volunteers and their continuous learning throughout the project .The number of volunteers who will participate in this project is 8, 4 girls and 4 boys with different backgrounds and profiles, and highly motivated to develop various activities with the people from Alba Association.The methodology used to ensure the success of the project will be:Selection of volunteers taking into account their interests and motivations,Good communication with partnersPreparation and following of volunteers at different moments; departure, arrival, during the project and final evaluation.I parallel to this, we will follow their learning process, language training, activities done and mentoring. The impact will be at three levels:Personal: for the participants themselves, for each participant the impact itself will be different, personal and not transferable. And, for sure, this impact will be transmitedd to their orignal places. People from the Alba Association: For those of Alba Association is always very helpful to share with European volunteers difernent moments and experiences. Relationships for people in Alba, stays for long! In the hall of the organizations's main building, we have a european map with a photo from each volunteer we have hosted and there is always someone looking at it and remembering histories. Local: Tárrega is a small town where everybody knows each other, the Association Alba is present in all events and socially active in a city-level, and therefore, European volunteers become part, easily, of the landscape of this city.
