Project Living and working in Europe/ Život a práca v Európe was realized in the cooperation with partner schools and companies. Our school has very good experience from previous projects and with providing of students vocational training. The positive thing is that there are very good not only working but also personal relations. Schools which were involved in the project: Business Academy in Prešov, Slovakia – delegating school for Slovak students and host school for students from Halle/Westf. and Wiltz / Luxembourg / and the host schools: Berufskolleg in Halle / Germany /, Lycee du Nord in Wiltz / Luxembourg /, 1st EPAL Volou in Volos and 1 EPAL N. Ionias Magnesias in Volos / Greece /, host companies: Manderley Fashion B.V. in Ootmarsume in Holland and ALBIRO GmbH in Sittersdorf in Austria. During two years of project we fulfilled the main aim to delegate 44 students of Business Academy for four weeks foreign vocational training and to enable them to get first international experience in companies, firms and different institutions abroad. In term 02.05 – 30.05.2015 we realized 21 mobilities from planned 22 mobilities and in term 09.05. - O3.06.2016 23 students of the third grade travelled abroad for vocational training. In these terms all the other students of the third grade realised vocational training at different workplaces in Prešov in case in the place of their address in Prešov region. The school provided workplaces for four weeks training for students from Halle Westf. / 23.03.-18.04.2015 – 2 students, 01.03. – 08.04.2016 – 4 students / and six weeks training for 3 students from Lycee du Nord in Wiltz / 02.05. – 10.06.2016 /. In connection with providing training for foreign students the school started cooperation with companies in Prešov and in Prešov region / Gemor Fashion s.r.o., MK Illumination s.r.o., GOHR s.r.o., Pivovary Topvar in Veľký Šariš, Motor – Car Prešov s.r.o. /. We are planning to continue in cooperation in the future to provide vocational training for our students. During the mobility students were working under the orders of mentors who helped them with working tasks or solving everyday problems and providing free time activities. The mentors were kept in touch with the project coordinator, prepared actively all mobility activities. The cooperation with all involving schools and firms was very good. The project increase the quality of education and the credit of the school at public places and European dimension brought onto educational process at school. Foreign vocational training was the first opportunity for all students to enter program Erasmus+. All involved students improved their language skills based on their own experience and they awared of importance and needness of learning foreign languages. Participation in mobility forced their self-confidence and independence, increased their self – development and European awareness and interest about European fundamental problems. Thanks to finishing mobility their chances to get jobs in any European country increased.
