Live school in Europe
Date du début: 15 nov. 2014, Date de fin: 14 nov. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Group of Schools of Cinfães is located in a disadvantaged area, where there are not many opportunities for learning and motivation for students and teachers to develop a more proactive and differentiated learning. This group of schools has now 7 kindergartens and 8 primary schools and 1 basic school (2nd and 3rd cycles), with approximately 1400 pupils. Our School has always sought to participate in several projects: environmental; teaching; recreational; competitions; and international projects (Comenius Assistant, Comenius, eTwinning). It is therefore part of our educational project to create learning "windows" to our pupils, showing the reality of other countries and develop in many different ways, the notion of European citizenship. When we decided to apply the KA1 project - "Live School in Europe", we knew it was a new step and a new challenge. We feel that promoting training on various European institutions, we could give teachers a wide and varied knowledge on good teaching practices of several European partners. We know that motivated teachers, encourage motivation of their pupils. And the good practices learned will also be applied gradually in their classes. We look for teachers determinated to get out of their comfort zone and cause a change in themselves and open their mind to learn new teaching techniques and new approaches in their classrooms. The activities for project implementation have always been oriented to propose a new approach and new learning in the context of formation. Earlier the barrier of language difficulty was the biggest challenge, establishing training in every-day English speaking to teachers to facilitate their integration into a training team. We also promote the formation always in groups of several teachers for better dissemination and sharing. The initial 7 groups form remade into 5 groups keeping intention of training as in the form. Teachers who have made the formation disseminated to their disciplinary peers their learning. The training on offer are aimed at developing skills in management, guidance and pedagogical development in general, with special emphasis on the approach of relationship and communication skills of staff and management for greater impact of our work, such as leadership, coaching and guidance , conflict mediation, special needs, inclusive education, strategic management. We intend to develop learning to combat early school leaving and improve key skills in our schools.
