"Die Eiche VoG" is a recognized non-profit organization in the german-speaking part of Belgium. Main activities of this association are organizing movement and prevention courses in order to assure people's longest possible mobility and autonomy, as well as computer courses to avoid the exclusion by the rapidly advancing computerization in everyday's life. The programm contains also cultural events, hikes, excursions and trips. Due to the high administrative burden and the low staffing level of only two full-time staff members "Die Eiche VoG" needs the support of volunteers and a professional administration software. After a long trial phase with different approaches and practical tests, we came to the conclusion, that "Lino Voga" is the most suitable application to meet our needs in order to improve and facilitate our daily work. The present Erasmus project aims to optimize the software "Lino Voga" as an efficient database and management program and to train the 13 users of our organization. As Lino Voga is released under an open source licence, other national and international organizations are able to benefit from this work. In this case, the participants are able to act as multipliers.
