Project LIDO - Language, Investigation, Development, Opportunity - seeks to boost the inclusion of the participation of visually impaired people in vocational training and intercultural activities with other European countries - students and staff of the organization. The main objectives are: to encourage the development of the use of a foreign LANGUAGE, INVETIGATE new perspective to Develop better answers at the educational level (providing mobility experiences to our catalysts for change, our employees) as to find better solutions to meet their place in the labor market, contributing to further improving the levels of employability of our students, thus promoting the DEVELOPMENT of all those involved, meeting new OPPORTUNITIES.We will develop two activities of mobility for different partners, in Germany - Düren and Halle - both training centers and also oriented work as a specific response to visual impairment:- mobility for students - 4 participants, all with special needs- mobility for employees - 2 participants, one with special needs. Both groups will be involved in training activities in the host organization, according to the individual training program agreed based on individual needs.Fundação Sain works in the area of Vocational Education and Training in order to promote a job and the social inclusion for blind and people with low vision. We defend that also our trainees and employees with visual disabilities should have the same opportunities as any other student /trainee, to experience what it is to be in another country, learn about another culture, meet other ways of organizing training and work and evolve and so it is for us also of utmost importance to include in our practice activities that include these people and allow them to experience this experiences - and thus, we are truly to facilitating and contributing to the inclusion of these European citizens!
