TERMINÉ
The project copes with the mobility problems in areas affected by weak demand of transport, characterized by inefficient public transport systems and widespread use of private car. Aim of the project is to enhance, support, integrate local public transport making it more flexible and less expensive through: creation of networks, experimentation of light mobility, infomobility and intermodal transport for people, use of new technologies and sensitization of decision makers at different levels. Achievements: State of the art of project implementation since the project startThe project is structured in phases that would allow its application more easily. Regarding the communication have been realized 5 of 6 press conferences. About the seminars have been made 5 of 6 where they have been involved stakeholders, decision makers and end users. There were even three showcases planned and almost all kinds of communication have been implemented, such as the communication plan, website, monographs, logos, brochures, newsletters and bibliography. About the management, have developed tools that allow for better project management, simplifying methods and using the website more as a communication tool and repository. With regard to the Steering Committee have been realized seven.With regard to the phase about the innovative solutions of transport and innovative solutions applied, were produced 4 documents of study. So, the study on the definition of a common methodology of implementation, evaluation of pilot projects and their implementation is completed.Latest project activities and outputsDuring the period the partner Urban Ecology Agency of Barcelona entered into project. There were two steering committees, in Perugia on 27th November and Pavia on 27th February 2013. The website content were improved and increased greatly. Two press conferences were held in Pavia and Rome, and also there were three showcase: in Perugia during the Polis Event, then in Pavia and Barcelona. Finally, a seminar was organized in Barcelona. Has been improved features of the website. There was an intermediate report of monitoring the activities carried out as required. The analysis phase of the pilot projects and their implementation has been completed. The next phase, regarding the collection of data products and the implementation of the guidelines, is in progress.Next key steps for the projectThe next phase will be devoted to the collection of data produced by pilot projects and their analysis in order to produce guidelines, as requested in the Component 5.1. Furthermore, we are organizing the final event of the project will be held in Rome during the month of May 2013.
