“Liderança, qualidade e uso de Novas Tecnologias no processo de ensino/aprendizagem”.

Our project is titled as "Leadership, quality and use of ICT in the teaching / learning process." This theme emerged because we believe that these generations of students with whom we work with, are very different from what we were. The children of this generation have a reactive and selective knowledge. So, it is necessary to adapt teaching practices to new ways of learning. The education needs to shape new ways to convey different knowledge. These generations show a huge digital literacy, which should be explored and guided to the acquisition of new methods of study and development of various intelligences present in each person. However, it is not our intention to neglect the use of books as a pedagogical practice; the goal is to create a harmonious fusion between innovative and traditional teaching practices. The main drivers of knowledge for the acquisition of these methodologies that units these two "worlds”, will be the teachers of the different stages of education, present in this school. Therefore, a total of 18 participants were proposed: 8 spread over two courses (one cycle representative for each course) and 10 in a course (TLQ) that addresses all patents skills in the subject of this project. It was unanimous among us that the going of more outward teachers, could bring more exchange of views and different practices. This project will follow a methodology that will perform the measurement data reporting and its evaluation of the results before during and after courses, in order to, verify whether the objectives have been achieved and what impact the project dynamics will have in our personal, social domain and therefore, the remaining education community. We believe that the benefits of implementing this project are huge, both in terms of the daily performance in teachers life, as in the students who will benefit from better education professionals that will be prepared to answer to all the challenges. We think the benefits of this project will be seen in a short, medium and a long-term, as soon as, the changes in teaching practices begin and the improving in the learning process, that we so passionately promote.
