The AVEMC, which is the only public school in the area, comprises students from kindergarten to secondary school, and it has as its purpose the students’ integral formation. Bearing in mind that the education taught is a tool that helps build skills which the students will resort to their entire lives, our school’s needs are currently limited to three different areas. The first one focused on the teaching practice, asks for competences in the realm of information and digital literacies in order to promote a high quality education, by using innovative methods and tools, without neglecting all the other aspects involved in the teaching-learning process. The second one addresses the internationalization issue. The number of teachers engaged in actions that aim at reinforcing this dimension of our school e and the rate of applications approved show that there is the need to have teachers trained in this area, so that they will be able to design projects which goal is to increase the teachers’ intercultural competence. The analysis of the students’ success/failure as far as languages mother tongue and foreign languages) is regarded proves that teachers must be provided with tools that will enable them to teach the syllabus of those subjects in a creative and appealing way, thus contributing to revert the tendency to fail that affects those areas. Besides that, the AVEMC aims also at offering the teachers tools that will empower them to achieve good internationalization plans, so that they will improve their ability to coordinate projects of such nature and to better get acquainted with European cooperation programmes they can enroll in. Finally, the AVEMC intends to overcome the difficulties observed regarding the use of technological tools. The 5 participants in the project meet a set of detailed requirements that include the will to disseminate the acquired knowledge, their general motivation to participate in this project, the level of proficiency in the language to be used in the training course and being accredited as a trainer by the CCFC.The activities to be developed will last for 2 years. The teachers selected will find and test several practical tools (poems, photos, games, songs, theater, social media, music, images, drama), techniques and activities that they will integrate both in the designing and teaching of their lessons. They will also share all the knowledge they will get with their colleagues, thus enhancing a more creative, dynamic and attractive teaching and learning environment in the whole school. Broadly speaking, these courses will help improve the teachers’ linguistic, pedagogical and didactic competences. Collaborative work and sharing both knowledge and experiences are also some of the expected outcomes. The development of both information and digital as well as of entrepreneurship, internationalization and educational cooperation literacies are also expected outcomes. The project of mobility will bring about changes in the teaching practice of those who make use of it. The students attending those lessons will play an important role in the sense that they will become more demanding and critical, therefore they will work as drivers of change. Teachers who are not directly related to the project will feel the need to update and dissemination will answer that need. This way, the whole school will gradually benefit from the project as all teachers will start planning their lessons by resorting to ICT, by making use of its resources without disrespecting the rights and duties this practice implies, and by understanding the need to cooperate in intercultural and international projects, without forgetting the curriculum.
