Date du début: 1 août 2014, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2014 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Let's Speak Together", this title stands after " Mix It Up Youth Culture together He - life " and " Let's Meet Again" for our third youth meeting with young people from Seferihisar. 12 young people from Hamm and 12 young people from Seferihisar will participate in this project, There will be six girls and six boys in each group. The project is accompanied by three staff members from Hamm and three staff members from Seferihisar. The young people from Hamm are visitors of our youth center. The young people are in transition from school to work. They have an average talent, but have an increased needs for support. The participants from Seferihisar are pupils of the school in Urkmez. They mostly come from families living in difficult economic conditions. The focus of this meeting, which takes place in Hamm, is an examination of the languages English, Turkish and German. Before the meeting the young people should explain the three languages. During the youth meeting the three languages will be learned and applied together. The reason for choosing this topic is that we have experienced during the first two projects that the young people were not able to communicate without a translator. This resulted often in frustration and disappointment and also uncommon conflicts resulted from misunderstandings. The " common" language English youth from Hamm could apply only in dialogue with the English teacher. The young people from Seferihisar dominated single words in English. By learning the three languages fears will be reduced and courage and situations for tying will be rised. Each individual young should speak at least one of the languages well and can thus contribute and convey his knowledge. The second focus of the project is to work with social media such as Twitter, Facebook , Flickr , etc. In view of the current developments in Turkey , this is an exciting and controversial subject. The young people are divided into groups and document the progress of the project directly in the social networks. So the Youth Exchange will promptly documented and the results will be made available to the public. Parallel to this, the young people put together with staff thematically with the field of social media apart. The third focus of the exchange is the subject of mobility. The participants from Hamm are very restricted in their mobility. They rarely leave their neighborhood and even rarer Hamm. The young people from Seferihisar are more local. Do not leave their region normally and the prospect of traveling abroad , is very far for the young people . On completion of the Youth Exchange weekend is planned in Berlin. The program, the ride and the supply is organized by the youth. The young people from Hamm so have the opportunity to look over their borders and together with young people from Seferihisar will discover the capital and also there to apply the learned languages. The co-location at the youth center , connected to the common housing, the joint preparation of meals and common leisure activities, will strengthen the sense of community and the participants the opportunity to obtain a differentiated impression of each other. This should brake prejudices down. The soft skills such as intercultural competence, social skills, language skills, self-esteem, empathy, tolerance, respect and communication skills are particularly enhanced by the intense time together.
