The CEIP Doctor Juan Negrin is a public school located in a suburb of the city of Las Palmas. Currently has 430 students and 26 teachers. Both the teachers and the new management team have a great willingness to educational innovation in all areas; organizational, economic, management (staff, schedules, spaces ...), curricular and methodological. Twelve teachers initially involved in the project, this group will consist of members of the Management Team; English teachers and CLIL and some teachers who show great interest and desire to learn English and in the future teach some subjects in English within the CLIL program. The project arises from the opportunity offered by the Erasmus + program and the identified need for our school to supplement the necessary linguistic skills of students and teachers. It aims to expand educational quality and increase the European approach. The most urgent need of our organization is to support and strengthen the professional development of teachers in language training, in order to comply with current regulations. The way to achieve our goals, according to the needs expressed, is undertaking activities that promote the one hand, the mobility of teachers to a European country of English language and establish contacts that may be future collaborators. The improvement in the linguistic and cultural competence which is derived from the mobility of teachers, will be an added value to our organization. The project includes twelve teachers who participate in structured language training courses, they develop a learning situation to implement it in the center and be able to implement methodological aspects learned. We hope that each mobility contribute an unique and unrivaled experience to each teacher to improve their professional work, which have a direct impact on our students to take advantage of these learning. Also, the impact will be significant because parents have access to certain social networks that publish news, photos, memories ... The impact is expected on improving language skills. Given the need to teach in a foreign language, impact is looking at changes to the schedule of the course to reflect the acquisition of new skills, didactic and methodological. In the long term, the teaching of subjects in a foreign language, the internationalization of studies, networking and stable relations with European centers and institutions working in the same field will be hallmarks of our center. We want to be as a reference center in bilingual education in public education.
