Our youth exchange project will take place in a city that has a coast on black sea, quiet, is famous with green areas and mountains, has hospitable public, Ordu between the days 23 June - 4 July 2016 with the countries Bulgaria, UK, Croatia, Holland and Turkey. There will be 8 participants from each partner country and 10 participants including the leaders -totally 42- from host country, Turkey. At least half of the participants will be selected from economically and culturally limited youngs.The youth exchange project "Let's Solve Islamophobia Problem" does not only aim getting rid of prejudices against Islam, at the same time it aims getting rid of fears and negative thoughts against Islamic thoughts/life style and Muslim people's worships. Our target is bringing our participants positive point of view by showing the real beauty of Islam with the help of our activities. In order to be able to reach this target, we benefited from the activities that let each participant to feel and to be involved in the subject. To share the information about our topic, we will use the following techniques; knowing each other games, workshop, ice breaking games, presentations, sightseeing tour, visiting governor, collage and presentation, research and discussion, drama, documentaries, brain storming, play, conversation, individual work, group work, round-table meeting, workshop for marbling, parody, simulation, conversation with public, interview, conference, theatre, question-answer, watching movie, videos and so on. And as final product, we will create a magazine that includes all stages of our project.On the other hand, we will have cultural nights in order to share our cultures to each other. By doing this, we will learn new things about our friends' cultures. Additionally, by the help of historical places and natural beauties visiting days, everybody will have lots of information about the Black Sea region.In the long term, the benefits of our project will be the followings. After our participants go back their countries, they will share the information and experience they get during our project with their close friends and families. This means more people will benefit from our projects' results and get rif of their prejudices agains Islam. Also, because participants will distribute and share our printed and online magazines; many people will learn about our project activities and project's results, thereby about Islam. On the other hand, there will be opportunity to get into new partnership for our partners, to create new projects, to have potential tourists, cultural ambassadors, supporters of Turkey to be a member of EU.
