Itaca Società Cooperativa Sociale ONLUS is a non-profit organization, born on June 29th 1992. It’s a type A) Social Cooperative in accordance with Law 381/91, and employs about 1500 people (83% women). It has its headquarters in the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Pordenone, but it covers the areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, part of Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige (north eastern regions of Italy). Main areas of intervention are: residential services for the elderly, community services for the elderly, residential and semi-residential services for the disabled adults, services for young people, services for mental health. The specific aims of staff training program are: -to encourage international links and to activate new information channels related to innovative methodologies and tools to be introduced in the local services, -to improve, through the exchange, the deep knowledge of the area and stakeholders (local and regional) guaranteed by the presence of local units and 10 different projects located within the extra-regional, -to develop a network of formal and informal collaborations finalized to the strategic objectives defined by the areas, - to increase quality and to create added value in the lservices managed , through a dialogue with decision makers at local level. Finally, Itaca recognizes the importance of encourage its members to practice english language, enhancing and strengthening the skills already acquired in order to make more and more fluid relationship with the European Partnership involved in this program, but also to strenghten and extend to other kinds of projects and cooperation. Participants will be 28, from different areas: 10 from elderly area, 8 from disability area, 8 from mental health area, 2 from young people area, yet involved in mobility projects funded by KA1. Three of these activities will be open to the coordinators of services as a whole staff. We can summarize the activities with the following schedule: 0.1. Selecting participants (first phase: June-July; second phase: September-October) 0.2. Preparing the asset for mobility 0.2.1. English course, intermediate level,14 hours, twice a week in the month preceding the start of each mobility activities 0.2.2.Preventing risks course (8 hours in the month preceding the start of each mobility activities, in case the staff has not already formed) 0.2.3. Content: information on the training contents shared with the staff selected for sending (4 meetings between the representatives of the production areas with the partners promoting the training) 0.2.4.
