Date du début: 20 mai 2016, Date de fin: 19 janv. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

For the worker at the work with people (no matter what abilities they have) it's very important to be curious, ready to learn every day and to be motivated. At work with disabled people every day is like challenge. Because you need to educate, to teach them every day. So, it's very important to feel good and motivated. So, we would like to carry this project to share our experience, working methods with our partners from Spain. Also we like to learn something new from our partners. We believe that it can be useful in our daily work with disabled people. The main objective about that activity is discover how other similar organizations are working, which resources do they have, which therapies do they use and how do they develop their daily life with clients they have in it. Also, we would like to make better contact between the organizations. We think that we can create a future projects together where both organization can be involved and can develop a common strategies for better quality of life for people they are attending in their daily work activity. In this project will participate 4 workers from each organization (Blessed J.Matulaitis social center and Associacio Alba) who work with people with disabilities. In each country participants will make some study visits in different organizations to see how these organizations are working with disabled people, which services they are offering. We'll expect that this project will give something new not only for workers, but also for disabled people. The workers will gain new skills, will get new ideas which will be useful at their daily work. We'll expect that gained new skills of the workers will implement the quality of work with disabled people at the local and even national level. We believe that this can help to change other people view to disabled people's work. We believe that this can change the old stereotypes that disabled people should get only services what they need but they can't give nothing back. We believe that this can help to understand and to show for others that disabled people can work as "normal" people. Also, we'll expect to strengthen the connection with our partners. It will help to make more interesting and useful projects in the future. We'll expect to strengthen the connection with our partners and to make more interesting and useful projects in the future.
