The project will take place in Lisbon, Portugal in association BUT CIDDADANIA . ( AMC ) The structure will host four young volunteers from France Haute Loire , rural sector. 1 short term July 1 to August 31 2 short-term September 1 to October 31 the project is aimed primarily at young people with social problems , economic, family . Young people will be unemployed or school leavers or remobilization period of personal and / or professional are applicants. The project objective is to allow them a first mobility, remobilization , better self-esteem, involvement in society mobilization to help others , active participation in citizenship, develop skills , knowledge . .. young people participate in the activities of the AMC structure cultural activities trade activities local life activities ... The objective is to educate rural youth mobility , citizenship and multiculturalism . The long-term impact will be to develop a partnership network , and enthusiasm of young people planning to engage in mobility . The areas and contests we will include the volunteers will be: Communication and multimedia in order to improve dissemination of projects and activities of the Association, Animation with children of a primary school and college, Organization of Youth Exchanges and Meetings, Organization of Festival Arte Mais 2012 (art multicultural festival) and Cooperation in training courses and projects for youngsters in the two neighbourhoods we operate: Apelação in Loures (social quarter with strong ethnic confrontation) and Bairro Alto in Lisboa (city centre, historical quarter with high school abandon, multicultural and artistic initiatives) The short term preview 2 months of service and each round correspond to a cycle of artistic activities and training we organise for local youth: in those projects for 3 volunteers. we intend to host youngsters with less opportunities in particular youngsters that dropped out school soon and with social disadvantage, in order to offer a multicultural and integrative experience where their artistic/creative skills are valorised through the exchange with other youngsters. The themes we’ll deal are always focused on citizenship; youth participation and intercultural dialogue, aiming to share documentation and create tools for information and autonomy of youngsters we work with trying constantly to motivate them to help their self esteem grow and be active citizenships in their communities. Volunteers have an important role in this action we promote: they are the living good practice for them and they have the possibility to exchange each other (volunteers and local youngsters) culture and ideas.
