Let it Be Europe

Let it Be Europe” will involve four volunteers from different European countries in a EVS project in Italy, with a duration of nine months. The volunteers hosted by the applicant, Associazione Culturale Link, are Julia Kogut from the russian sending organisation SFERA Movement and Busra Aydogan from the turkish sending organisation Başak Kültür ve Sanat Vakfı. Coordinated by the applicant, the hosting organisation Auxilium will welcome, in the centre CSER "Il volo", two volunteers: one from Turkey, Neslihan Yalcin, from the sending organisation Genclik Turizmi Dernegi and one from Spain, Nerea De Las Heras from the sending organisation FUNDACION CANONICA AUTONOMA EDE. The mobilities will be hosted in the south of Italy, in the city of Altamura and start the 1st of April 2015. The two volunteers hosted by Associazione culturale Link will be involved in activities and workshops about creativity and non formal education with local youth and children, they will work on international projects, they will learn about the function of an NGO and take part in promotion activities about Erasmus+ and its possibilities. Instead, the organisation Auxilium, offers support for people with handicaps, so the goal of the volunteers will be to development different workshops and activities from sport to theatre, art and gardening. The volunteers will play an important role in the daily work of the organizations, bringing an added european value to the proejct, they will participate in all activities promoted by their hosting organisation gaining new skills and abilities which, by the end of the project, they will be included in the Youth Pass Certificate. The volunteers’ presence will get the hosting community, a region “far” from the decisional centres and “marginal” in the economical geography and in the european politics, and in particular the young people, closer to Europe and its values through the Erasmus+ Programme
