Les jeunes Rhônalpins réalisent un stage en Europe pour favoriser leur insertion professionnelle.

Since 2002, the regional Federation of the MFR of Rhône-Alpes has coordinated and promoted group mobility programs. For the 2014-2016 programming it has gathered 10 MFR on 9 different destinations of their choice: - The MFR Les Dronières from Haute-Savoie in Wales - The MFR La Palma from Rhone in Finland - The MFR Tronchine Thônes from in Spainin Scotland - The MFR Montbrison from Loire en Espagne - The MFR Bonne from Haute-Savoie in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland - The MFR du Domaine de la Saulsaie from Ain in Denmark and Spain - The MFR Seyssel from Haute-Savoie in Croatia - The MFR of St Étienne from Loire in Greece - The MFR Chessy les Mines from Rhône in Slovenia - The Association Maison familiale Rurale St. Laurent de Chamousset from Rhone in Spain and Wales. A mobility of 3 weeks of internship (of 4 weeks for the MFR of St. Laurent de Chamousset in Wales) within a European company was conducted by 227 students of these 10 MFR registered in various professional training courses (Vocational Baccalaureate) : BAC pro CGEA (Conduct and Management of the farm - Animal Production) for Drosnières and St. Laurent de Chamousset, Bac pro SAPAT (Services to people and territories) for La Palma, La Saulsaie, Seyssel, St. Etienne and St. Laurent de Chamousset, technological Bac STAV (Sciences and Technologies of Agronomy and the Living) for Tronchine Thônes, Bac pro Landscaping for Bonne and Chessy, Bac pro Horticultural Production for Chessy, La Saulsaie, and Bac pro commerce for Montbrison. The objectives, determined by each MFR according to its specificities, are based on our intention to educate our young people to the Worlds and the Others, and are built on 3 axes: -professional objectives: discover the organization, the functioning of a structure in a particular professional area, enhance the vocational experience and add value on internship places, confront different techniques and methods, discover new productions (e.g. sheep production for Les Dronières). -linguistic and cultural objectives: develop linguistic skills both from the point of view of the vernacular communication and on the professional level (specialized lexicon), get rid of complexes and highlight achievements, develop strategies for parallel communication (non-verbal); discover a culture and develop a European consciousness by reflecting on the concept of cohesion within the European area. -Personal and human objectives: develop adaptability, get more autonomy, refine their perception of otherness, and accept the difference. As mobility projects are included in the training plans, entire classes (no selection) have done an internship in a country of the EU: 124 girls and 103 boys aged between 16 and 21 were supervised by 39 accompanying adults Activities were shared by various partners. For the MFR: search for internship, co-financing, administrative management, linguistic and cultural preparation, monitoring, accompanying and assessment of learning outcomes on the spot and on return, project evaluation and dissemination of the results. For host structures: designation of a mentor, definition of professional activities, and assessment of learning. For the intermediary organizations (acting as interfaces between the MFR and the foreign companies): search for internship and accommodation. Internship activities have been defined beforehand between the MFR and each host company via sometimes the intermediary organization in connection with the fixed training requirements, the MFR requirements and expectations of young people. Every young person has been assessed at his/her placement site through his/her notebook (highlighting the activities carried out and the appreciation of the mentor), the Europass Mobility, and on their return via the EU survey and various CCF according to the MFR. The impacts were many. -For the students: better professional adaptability, improvement of language skills, greater insight into European cultures, confidence boost, more autonomy and maturity, awareness of contemporary realities based on mobility and employability. -For the MFRs: at the local, regional, national and international levels recognition of its expertise in term of transnational project, enhanced value of the trainings, better recruitment. -For the host structures: consolidation of their expertise in the welcome of a young trainee and strengthening of European solidarity. -For intermediary organizations: recognition of their expertise in the organization of stays, development of their network in the country and with the MFRs. All agree to say that it was an enriching experience. Partnerships around mobility projects will be renewed.
