Les Etats Généraux de la Démocratisation : "Construire une société apprenante par l'accès au diplôme et aux qualifications".
Date du début: 2 mai 2016, Date de fin: 1 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

In a fast-changing world, rising the qualification level has to become a priority. Yet, improving the skill level of society has to come with a real democratization of the access to higher education in order to improve equality as well as social, cultural and intellectual development. Otherwise, enhancing the skill level won’t honor the social contract. That is why the FAGE wants to increase the level of interactions between the youth and policy makers on the following issues:- The relationship between secondary education and higher education ;- The sustainable and public funding of higher education and research ;- Student's course choice has to be the standard rather than the selection of students, particularly at the master’s degree level, taking into account the Bologna Process ;- Improving the links between universities and the socio-economic world. The project achieves a twofold objective: to improve public policies related to the democratization of higher education and to promote popular education from young people to young people.Among the participants will be 560 young people with different profiles (involved in politics or not, elected students , association leaders etc), representatives of partner Youth organizations and decision makers (at the local, regional or national level). The "Etats Généraux de la démocratisation de l’enseignement supérieur " will facilitate the dialogue between the youth and decision makers around 3 main events:-A general meeting to open dialogue- An intermediary meeting- A closing meetingWork from these national events will subsequently be relayed and enforced in territories. As a result of this project the place of Youth organizations in the public debate will be reinforced and the dialogue between Youth and decision makers will be easier. The project will allow to connect players from popular and formal education, especially the University. It will come to concrete and realistic proposals aiming to improve the access to higher education to all. A White Book, that will summarize solutions that emerged from foreward dialogue. It could later be referred to during public policy making.
