Date du début: 1 mai 2015, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

During the last two weeks of June 2015 (15-28 June), 20 young euro-mediterranean photographers aged from 18 to 30 will have the keys of Paris. Each of them will be assigned one of the 20 arrondissements and they will express their creativity and talent through their camera. They will question the relations between urban territory and the creation of our identity. The places photographed will be diverse private and public spaces, night and day, that historians, town-planners and other people from the arrondissments will have taught and showed them. We want to promot the Parisian’ cultural and social diversity by putting emphasis on the unknown aspects of the diverse arrondissements and neighborhoods. Our project will help the young photographers to enhance and develop their art, with profesionalization in mind. Workshops, supervised by specialists, will help them to acquire the tools to become professionals. Our mission is to promote interculturality so moments of exchange and sharing will be at the heart of our meeting. By the end, we hope that everyone will go beyond their stereotypes and prejudices about different cultures and social enviroments. Finally, the set of chosen photography will be exposed in a public place free of charge, making Paris visible in a new light, showing everyone, Parisians and Europeans alike that our difference is a strength.
