Lernen, Weiterentwickeln, Vernetzen - Learning, Developing, Networking
Date du début: 1 janv. 2015, Date de fin: 15 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The idea for the project has originated in different single projects of international youth work that have been undertaken in the town of Lauenburg/Elbe in Germany. In the town there is a group of dedicated people from youth work, social work, school and other areas that aims at establishing a network and wants to increase the amount of international projects for youth and multipliers of youth work. The project has as one objective to intensify the local, regional and international network and enhance the partnerships. In order to work towards this aim we are planning two training course for youthworkers as well as one youth exchange with partners from Germany, Turkey, Poland, Finland and Norway. (Another German-Turkish youth exchange is planned for spring 2015 but seperately applied for). The first training course will take place in Lauenburg in Germany and will start off as a basic Course for international youth work: it will contain methods and theory about group dynamics in multinational groups, participation, intercultural learning and diversity, how to deal with language and language diversity, with conflicts etc. The course contents will be strongly linked to the experiences of the participants and its concept and methods will be based on experiential and non-formal learning as they are also used in international youth exchanges. As such it should serve as an example of how to conduct a program and what kind of quality standards we should be looked at in order to plan and realize tangible youth exchange projects. A first common youth exchange is also part of the project application. Details in planning will be part of the first training course which will take place end of February 2015 and where participants from all the five countries will be taking part. The partner organisation (schools, youth work, non-formal youth organisations) are planned to become part of the network that we want to establish. The youth exchange is following in spring the next year (2016) in Norway, that means there will be enough time for planning the program, for the selection of participants and the integration of participants in the preparations. Also the learned methods and conclusions from the first training course can serve as a basis for preparation and realization. The target group of the youth exchange mirrors the target groups of the partner organisations. Details we will discuss between all partners during the training course so that we cannot tell exactly by now how it will be planned. But it can be said that probably the participants will be youngsters between the age of 14 and 17, some will have experiences in international youth projects, others not; they will come from different types of school, some will have special needs in terms of educational or social obstacles as some of the partners are working with these target groups. During the second training course in september 2016 in Poland we aim to gather the same group together as in the first course. Also youth workers and pedagogical staff that were engaged in the youth exchange in Norway are invited to participate. Therefore this second course also aims on the reflection of experiences and is also thought to give more and new impulses for quality matters of international youth work. Some topics (like power of language) can be treated here more deeply than in the first course and the common experiences of the youth exchange can be used to talk about future strategies of dealing with certain challenges. On the longer run the activities in this project should serve as a starter for more projects of international youth work that we would like to develop. Through the common qualification, exchange of ideas, intense getting to know each other and first projects together, the participants and partner organizations should see how project partnerships can be working and and established. At the end of the second training course there will be time to talk about future projects and set up arrangements and maybe structures in order to realize further ideas and initiate next steps for cooperation.
