The consortium filing the application consists of a network of headmasters of Bavarian secondary schools from different Bavarian school districts and representatives of the school inspection of Oberbayern-Ost. On the one hand the project includes the further improvement of this network in regards to various topics of school leadership. On the other hand it adds an European perspective on school leadership. It is planned to visit three different European countries where schools offer special insights in specific problems and challenges of schools. The mobilities include the visit of various schools and an educational program. Hopefully, the project will lead to a productive exchange with European headmasters and the beginning of a long-term dialogue. It is to be expected that the project will lead to an improvement of the network itself not only because of a broader perspective on leadership gained by the various mobilities, but also an improvement of motivation and a fertile discourse with different models, which could mean a tremendous enrichment for the development of schools within the network and the different school districts the headmasters come from.
