“Opportunities in diversity – finding the individual learning strategies in the varieties of learning methods.” The work experience of our institution’s seven member schools is featured by cultural and methodological diversity. The aim of the applied methods is to enable students to find the learning strategies that best help them in their own improvement and, as a result, it should contribute to the need for lifelong learning. The teachers themselves are a good model for them in this case to follow.The professional renewal that lies in teacher training courses and in building professional partnerships is essential for us. To work at a high quality based on modern expectations teachers need continuous renewal, real self-knowledge, personality development and good mental health. Experiencing Europe’s cultural, religious and linguistic diversity helps teachers to establish European way of thinking and identity. We need new experiences gained in different parts of Europe for this. In our view we can become open-minded, tolerant teachers with a wide intellectual horizon and we can educate similar children.The fulfilment of our project takes one year. We are planning teacher training courses and partnership buildings all year round in different periods – this way we ensure continuous experience-exchange for all the colleagues in our institution. We are planning eight different methodology trainings for eight teachers so each teacher takes part in different trainings. Eight teachers will take part in job shadowing in Spain, five colleagues in Ireland and six teachers will strengthen the living relationship with a Dutch school.Teachers taking part in the project communicate up-to-date, useful, complex knowledge to colleagues and students as well. We are expecting to strengthen European way of thinking and develop linguistic and digital competences. Our aim is to collect as many authentic materials as possible and make them available for teachers and students too. Learning is becoming more enjoyable and students will develop unconsciously, thanks to real, authentic materials.
