Within a European context which strongly promotes the establishment of a common European citizenship and identity, “Learning in Europe”, is a project aiming at developing in our school staff a better knowledge of European teaching systems, working with key international organizations to respond effectively to the new global educational challenges. Being aware of the differences in the countries’ policies, practices and educational contexts, the present project provides the promotion of an intercultural exchange of information and best practices for the applicant participants in a motivating, international context. The projects fully matches the innovative process that the Italian school system is undergoing at the moment and we strongly believe that the classical humanistic background (ancient Greek Latin, Italian and Philosophy) should face the challenges and expectations of a globalized world.
