Our school, CC Sant Salvador, decided two years ago to sart the adventure of trying to be part of an exchange project with other European schools. After registering on www.etwinning.net, we finally were able to make up a team of work made of six different European schools. Almost two years later our project "Ways to a Greener and Healthier Europe" is about to come to an end, and the experience couldn't have been more positive. Thanks to the good tune and the good vibrations that we have found in the project, our school and the Danish school Usserod Skole, have decided to keep on working together. Apart from the previously mentioned good tune between us, it should be highlited that both schools are showing a strong will of working together, have always been able to easily solve the normal problems which arise when you work in group and the fact that we share a common intention: the motivation of broaden our horizons in Europe. It must also be pointed out that Usserod Skole has an extensive experience concerning international projects: they have an international profile and have participated in several Comenius exchange projects. For all these reasons and for sharing cultural and linguistic traits, we have decided to keep on working together and have a closer and more detailed insight of how our schools work in different subjects, the artistic and linguistic ones. To be able to do it, in both Denmark and Mallorca, we are going to actively take part in the planning, teaching and the final evaluation of these lessons and activities. With "Job Shadowing", we intend to share, learn and adopt new ideas and work methodologies from which we can benefit. Apart from this, we are extremely interested in taking part in some Erasmus + courses, specially those whose main topic will be the application of CLIL (Content and Learning Integrated Language). With these courses, we want that our teachers acquire the necessary knowledge to be able to carry out their work in a better and more precise way. It is worth mentioning that these days, in our community, it is highly necessary to have a deep knowledge of the English language to be able to teach non linguistic subjects in English. For this reason, different training sessions will be done in our school so that we all are prepared to face the previously mentioned courses. We should not forget to mention that we will be in constant touch with the host countries so that the preparation process is easier and more effective. With the participation in these courses and activities we intend to obtain different results which can have an influence in different spheres of our educational community: teachers, parents and students mainly. We want to improve the teaching competences of the teachers of our school, specially the linguistic one, so that we can improve to key factors in any school: the constant innovaton and motivation. We want to take advantage of this last factor, motivation, so that our students get impregnated of it. We trongly believe that through the process of these activities and exchanges at European level, the motivation of our students will increase and we will be able to reduce and prevent one of the main problems in our society and specially in our community: the early school dropouts. Thus, participating in such projects just offers benefits at different levels: educational, professional and human. If we take part in these projects, not only will we be able to open doors professionaly but also we will be culturally richer since we will learn how to respect different cultures and ways of thinking. We do believe that there is not a better way of learning and keep on wanting to learn (and not abandoning) than experience. Through it, we have a better of what learning is: living.
