Child Library is one of the important factor for development of children and it helps them to grow up with thinking structure logically. Unfortunately, the number of child library in Turkey is not adequate to meet these purposes. Therefore, we want to establish a child library in one place that children need library with foreign participants. During the establishment of this library, we will gather everything for library from public and social media accounts because we want to plan a project based on voluntariness. In addition to that, we aim to create awareness about ignored problems of children. Another aim is to introduce the culture of Turkish society and to show natural beauties of Turkey. So this project enables participants to have fun time with creative drama activities, gives information thanks to presentations and, gives an opportunity to recognize about children problems and to play games with children. Besides various trips and activities, the project gives a chance to know Turkish culture and people closely. L.E.A.D. in Library (Learn Enjoy Act and Draw in Library) is a youth exchange project. It will be held between the dates 22 July-3 August 2016 in the city Trabzon, Beşikdüzü. There will be 8 participants - including the leaders - from Lithuania, Italy, Malta, Bulgaria countries and 10 participants - including the leaders - from Turkey, totally 42 participants. These participants must be 18-30 years old. We expect that some ideas about child library in their country are offered. It is enough to be voluntary about the project for them because this project is not theoretical so each participant must work actively.The methodology of the project can be separated into two parts; the establishment of library’s stage and the concept of child library. Firstly, we want to focus on five main topics and these can be developed according to new ideas of participants. This project includes several activities to form these five topics which are tales, dram, picture, reading and game sections. The second part contains presentations in order to illustrate the requirement and lack of child library. We expect different ideas with activities about what the definition of library is expressed for children. While we play games and fly kite with children, we mention the importance of library. During this process, social issues regarding children are discussed among participants.At the same time we will distribute brochures to people and promote child library in order to raise awareness about the library. We will invite public and children in order to both take attention for child library and introduce it to more people. This library founded by the cooperation of public increases solidarity soul in today’s individual society. In the final of the project children use library for not only read books but also make creative activities so it will be informative and enjoyable. The campaigns of social media will enable public to become self-aware and children will reach these opportunities thanks to such project. In both our country and European countries huge awareness will be created on child library and the number of child library will be increased thanks to our project.
