Leaders is an youth exchange project focused on intercultural exchange and learning opportunities, implemented in Arad, Romania, on 3 consecutive motilities, involving 84 youngsters and group 12 leaders from Romania, France, Turkey and Slovakia, during 16 months. During motilities in Arad/ Romania, participants will have the opportunity to explore trough theatre different cultures and habits across Europe. During the exchanges participants will prepare and perform theatre plays, theatre masks, forum theatre and puppets theatre. This activities will reveal to participants different aspects of European cultures and make friends across borders. In addition, during the exchange we will provide visits to medieval fortress from region and kayak trips on river Mures. Our organization is new and willing to develop international partnerships, within the Erasmus + program, in order to provide our youngsters with opportunities for personal development, to interact with other people from youth organizations from Europe. Partnership is composed from te following organizations: Canakkale Koza Youth Association, Turkey, Eurocircle - France and A.D.E.L. - Association for Development, Education and Labor din Slovakia. The main goal of the project is to increase the awareness of membership to European values for youngsters from the countries mentioned above for a period of 16 months. This goal will be set in practice by developing intercultural competencies, emphasizing European cultural diversity; strengthening cooperation within intercultural and non-formal learning frameworks among youth from France, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey. Increasing the capacity of artistic means of expressions, methods based on theatre for participants in youth exchange. Partners are aiming to develop methods based on theatre, in youth work, to facilitate intercultural learning and personal development.
