Transversal aspects of the training course were the Erasmus + Programme, professional and organisational development, and the fostering of new partnerships and projects.
OBJECTIVES:
*) building up competences of the participants and practice tools in relevant areas of management for entrepreneurship and sustainable social initiatives;
*) supporting process and development: how to be a good learner and how to be creative;
*) to explore the concept of entrepreneurship and sustainable social initiatives, and to see how it applies to the participants at professional and personal level, to the represented organisations and the influence of the “market” and further stakeholders;
*) assessment of best practices and common pitfalls;
*) action planning for sustainable future development at personal and professional level (as entrepreneurs and active participants in civil society), at organisational level (to ensure sustainability in initiatives and development), and at international partnership level
(via future joint actions and projects).
APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
The training course was based on the specific needs of the participants and was highly participatory. There was only few frontal lectures, the main part of the training course was delivered in the form of practical sessions implemented by the participants in a learning-by-doing fashion. The trainers took care of creating a supportive and safe learning environment, where participants were encouraged and coached while mastering challenges that contribute to their personal, professional and organisational development. Special attention was paid to making the learning points of the training course relevant, sustainable and transferable, eg. by giving ample room for reflection and assessment, by producing exhaustive documentation and by providing templates and guidance for tailor-made development and action plans. All issues will be dealt with examples from, reference to and relevance for Erasmus + projects.

Working methodology:
The program of the course was based on non formal education, intercultural dialogue and communication. Was conducted by using an interactive and participative approach as well as many outdoor and sport activities.
The activities implemented consisted of an introduction to the development of sport in culture, a discussion on the use of sport as an educational method and the sharing of best practice examples of how youth work can help to promote the physical health and social wellbeing of young people.
The training course stimulated active participation, sense of initiative and involvement of the young people in society and also their involvement in sport and physical activities.
Participants prior experiences in youth work, particularly at local and regional level, wore important and used in the development of the learning process.
Active group/team work, role-plays, outdoor and sport activities and plenary discussions, as well as theoretical inputs characterized the program of the course in order to cover all aspects of the project themes.
The expected results are that the participants gained knowledge, discussed their ideas and were supported to design their own practical examples on how to use sport as a tool in non-formal education settings.
The dates of the training course were selected in order to be in the same time with the first ever European Week of Sport that took place in September with the official opening taking place in Brussels.
The European Week of Sport aimed to promote sport and physical activity across Europe at national, regional and local levels. 28 EU Member States as well as Macedonia, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Turkey took part in the first ever event which ran from the 7-13 September 2015, with a range of activities and events taking place across Europe promoting themes that appeal to all and encourage people to #BeActive.
