Engaged for 7 years in the implementation of the European professional mobility, with 6 projects already done, the school which name is Maison Familiale Rurale de Fonteveille (equestrian training center), has included this professional work placement in Europe (Spain) in its training plan, for students who study in BTEC National Diploma untitled Leading and management of Equine Business (similar to A professional Level) Our school is specialized in sandwich course trainings. The European mobility for business purposes is also part of the project of establishing the MFR. 61 students of last year in BTEC National Diploma (Leading and management of Equine Business) should do this professional work placement under this project for a period of one year entitled " Study of breeds and equestrian disciplines in Andalusia " filed for school year 2014/2015 . They will be divided into 2 groups (2 weeks European work placement in March 2015, two weeks in April 2015), each time supervised by two teachers from the school. The place of training is the province of Mijas, near Malaga in Spain, with a strong equestrian tradition, at the races and practiced disciplines, with the highest rate of equine population of Spain. The aim is to study horse breeds, equestrian disciplines and their characteristics, the equipment used, the monitoring, feeding and breeding. Horse selected structures have mostly been involved in the mobility project last year, they are complementary and varied (doma vaquera, classical dressage, show jumping, horse show, High School dressage). Students will be 2 per structure. The channel partner is Euro 21, based in Torremolinos, which provides transfers, transport, accommodation, catering, organization of cultural visits, language courses on site. The activities for students will be professional in riding (student involvement in activities and life of the structure , visit of the School of Equestrian Art in Jerez , Royal School of Dressage Ronda, the Royal Stables of Cordoba ) , language (language courses on site and before departure) , cultural ( visit of Malaga , Ronda , Cordoba, horse show ) . The students will be trained before leaving school in the Maison Familiale Rurale de Fonteveille (language courses, historical information on Spain, administrative and security aspect, participation in dance classes...) for a total of 40 hours, included in their training. Concerning the project management, a steering committee follows it and a teacher from the school (MFR) responsible of the mission, conduct a preparatory visit in September 2014 and will systematically reports to the committee and the Board of Directors to readjust and make a positive change overall. This is the Steering Committee and the teaching team who will carry out if necessary the selection of beneficiaries. Beyond the professional skills and enhancement acquire, students will have a real life experience, a gateway to Europe, language skills. The whole will be a plus for the passage of the tests during training ( riding practice and sociocultural Education) , BTEC National Diploma ( Oral professional presentation) for further studies ( second foreign language ) , to better employability (Certificates and Europass mobility, language passport ) for a longer post-baccalaureate training in order to form ( network of ) . About the school, it will consolidate its network of European partners, in order at first time to send students in Spain. But also to finalize the partnership with the Royal School of Ronda, to set up a mobility project for professional French and one for professional Spanish, and also to consider a possible transfer of innovation regarding to the French Professional Diploma and Sports for future riding instructors.
