Launching the Integrated System of Population and Environment Protection in the border area of Poland and Lithuaniax
Project shall increase the technical infrastructure and equipment level in order to run effective fire-rescue operations during both national and transnational incidents, decrease the death-roll in road and water communication accidents. Technological and tactical know-how of industrial break-downs prevention shall be transferred among the partners. Specialized equipment for chemical, ecological and flood rescue brigades shall be purchased †9 rescue trucks and 2 rescue boats, 1 hydraulic elevator.
