The general objective of the project is establishing the Integrated System of Population and Environment Protection in the border area of Poland and Lithuania. The objective is to be reached through:- increase in technical infrastructure and equipment level, necessary in order to run effective fire-rescue operations in both: national and transnational incidents.- growth of safety level in road and water communication in the border area and hence improvement of EU border security.
