The design theme is identified in the development of innovative models of local governance for the implementation of policies necessary to territorial cohesion and competitiveness of socio-economic area according to the principles laid down by the Lisbon and Gothenburg Strategies. The project activities will affect the entire cross-border area through the involvement of Collectivité Territoriale de Corse, the Region of Tuscany, Liguria Region, the Province of Sassari and the University of Pisa. The overall objective is to foster the socio-economic development of territories to increase the cohesion and promoting competitiveness of the implementation of innovative development strategies based on the principle of sustainability. The target groups are identified in the handlers and users of planning services, economic and geographical area with particular attention to regional, provincial, municipal, business, and the structures of the sector "research and innovation." The main activities will focus on the census of needs and good practices in the area, the identification of innovative systems for monitoring and evaluation of territorial policies, the development of models used to interpret the strategic level, the development of systems of shared projects territorial definition of an array of quality of local development projects, the design of a dynamic database, the dissemination of its activities, raising awareness of human resources in local development activities and implementation of land management. Expected Results:  Identify the needs of the area and good land management practices to develop new models of analysis of local development  Assist territories in the process of socio-economic growth by developing innovative ways of local governance.  To promote territorial cohesion of the border according to the objectives of the Lisbon and Gothenburg strategies favoring disadvantaged by geographical positioning territories
