The recent growth of interest in landscape and environmental systems and the historical centers, suggellatio at European level of the conclusion of the European Landscape Convention and adopted by the regions through the development of the Landscape Plan, created policies and interventions that need more consistency compared to local needs and local communities in order to reduce impacts associated with invasive and landscape features.The difficulty of integrating actions that affect the development of the territory (which refer to tourism, agriculture, construction) and to enable effective forms of governance, involving local actors, resulting largely from the absence of a specific culture in this area and a proper reading and interpretation of the territories and their natural and cultural heritage.However, the wealth of studies, projects and research in the maritime territories, although at present not yet systematized, allows to start from a solid base of knowledge to build effective tools for the government of the processes of territorial transformation and for the enhancement landscape resources.From here the objective is to develop cooperation and encourage networking of territories for the promotion and enhancement of local cultures specifically geared to deepening the theme relating to the enhancement of the landscape.The actions envisaged concern the development of initiatives which over time can be further nurtured and updated by extending the horizon of their efficacy beyond the implementation phase of the project. More specifically:• structured laboratories and local collaborative networks that can buds of other supra-or consolidate existing relationships;• finding the platform, which collects and orders studies, plans, projects, best practices, can be further enriched and become an instrument of support to governments for planning and management of operations in the territory;• guidelines for the definition of joint actions are the basis for updating and enhancing the planning acts locally.In addition, joint projects and participatory local development and educational sites, conducted with the support of local authorities involved, and appropriate dissemination and communication, will enable the recovery and enhancement of local culture, threatened by the greater impact of globalizing processes .The recipients of the project actions will be administrators, local engineers, designers specialize in the landscape and built heritage in the recovery of historical actors in the field of cultural heritage management (artisans, masons, builders, equipment manufacturers), teachers and students, and the inhabitants of the territories involved. Expected Results: strengthen the system of regional cross-border network for the enhancement of landscapes and local identity promoted and tested new methods and participate in joint operations for the definition of territorial resources (through the sharing of spatial data, the use of new media for the cognitive and the participation of the relevant territorial citizenship) Enhanced exchange of good practices transferred from one region to another (central and local administrations, associations, universities, businesses and citizens) to promote the integration of cultural operators at the basin level transboundary
