"La mobilité européenne, un outil de formation pour tous"
Date du début: 1 juin 2016, Date de fin: 31 mai 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Reunion Island, a French overseas department located in Indian Ocean, off the island Madagascar, presents a very specific situation with alarming statistics concerning unemployment. The geographic isolation of the island imposes a certain degree of mobility to the young unemployed people from Reunion. Our organization, Mission Locale Sud, aimes at opening the range of opportunities for this target group. Most of the young people are under skilled which means that we must be innovative in providing alternative training solutions, through non-formal education, based on experience and hands-on learning. But here on the island, because of our geographical location mobility is not easy to organize. The aims of the project are :- To establish our structure as an actor of European and international mobility projects, but also for local projects, with the search for new partnerships.- Set up a qualified team to serve these international projects, on a linguistic and organizational level- Continue to provide the public with original projects that are professional and personal springboards. The project called "European mobility, training for everyone", offers to 8 members of the Mission Locale's staff an internship in a European organization (Spanish, Italian, Irish or British). The training will be for a period of 2 weeks, to train "multipliers" of the European mobility project, within our team and beyond the local network. The themes targeted in the training program are varied : European citizenship, mobility, work placements in companies and professional integration. The expected results, in addition to the benefit to the participants, will be to consolidate the work experience gained through the use the European mobility project as an insertion tool which in turn will allow our structure to continue the development of our privileged position in the field of mobility and inclusion and to thus stimulate new projects.
