The current project "The image in the learning process: an integrating view" tries to carry out a jobshadowing at the Finish School Osyk, which develops its curriculum through artistic subjects. Our project pretends the use of the image as a crosscurricular resource in a methodology based on the cooperative learning integrating different subjects of the curriculum. The objectives proposed by our teamwork are: - The optimization of the work during the class in different subjects using the image. - The use of attractive methodologies, using the ICTs as a resource. - The development of cooperative work. - The improvement of the school coexistence. - The expansion of our students' horizons through the development of the linguistic competence (internationalization).The jobshadowing will be carried out by four teachers of our school who participate actively in the organization and management of it from different fields: coordination of the Artistic and Cultural Area, Language Department, Coordination of ICT and Deputy head Office and coexistence.The main activity is a jobshadwoing in the school Osyk in Oulu. We pretend to observe the working methodology of our Finish colleagues. The methodology used will be active and based on:- Regular coordinating meetings.- Continuous contact with our partners using eTwinning and the e-mail.- Development of a report which will gather of the information about the good teaching practice observed in the destination school.With regards to the results and the expected impact, we pretend to acquire new methodological approaches which imply an improvement of our teaching practice, as well as a gradual work implementation. It would foster the improvement of the school coexistence and the academic results in our students (and therefore their motivation in relation to studies). During this process we cannot forget the use of new tools in the field of ICT and the work groups as a means to achieve the previous objectives. We will use both, ICTs and work groups, as a means of dissemination of our project goals for the rest of the educational community.In the long term, the benefits we expect to achieve are related to the exposed objectives:- Give our students the opportunity to know the benefits offered by the internationalization.- Expand the European experience to our students with future international exchanges.- Encourage students from the region to continue studying post-obligatory education in our school.
