The European mobility project planned by I.I.S. “M.Rigoni Stern” (Bergamo) aims at supporting in service training of the teaching staff, attending structured courses organized by host institutions in English speaking countries. Courses have been selected by a project team in order to meet the organisation's needs in terms of quality development of curricula modernization and internationalisation. This initiative goes hand in hand with the organization's plans of innovation in teaching methods, which have been carried out by taking part in the Project "Web generation", promoted in the field of education by the local authority in Lombardy, and taking part in the project "CLIL in rete", promoted by Italian Ministery of educationThe objectives of the project are focused on:1. the improvement of language skills and culture competences for staff and for the students, to help them tackle the needs of a global and interconnected economy;2. promoting the digital competences and practical classroom skills of teachers to create motivating and inclusive learning environments to respond to pupils' diverse needs of personalised learning approaches;3. exloring the opportunities for Strategic parnerships, incoming mobility and action in sports;4. enhancing the quality and relevance of the learning offer in education by achieving a stronger awareness of European dimension of education.The applicant organization is applying for a mobility project on the behalf of the following staff categories:- teachers involved in CLIL training, - teachers involved in the the improvements of mothodology, innovation and ICT in teaching;- technicians involved in the improvement of language skills.The new experiences and knowledge acquired by the teachers will be spread through an effective communication.This mobility experience will produce significant improvements for the school as a whole, considering all its components: teachers, students and families.In particular, the enhanced linguistic competences, the strategic use of both ICT and new-approach based method of teaching will boost the student’s education, preventing them from abandoning their studies.The quality of the impact on the school’s organisation will be much more significant if supported by an effective action of dissemination of the best practices.The dissemination plan will be based on the use of different communication tools like meetings, WEB site, PPT presentations.Out of school, the dissemination action will be guaranteed thanks to specific activities aimed at public organizations and associations connected to the world of work.
