L'éducation comme vecteur de changement
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

ITECO is an NGO which proposes training for an adult public. These training have for main thematic: education development, international solidarity with a special focus on intercultural aspects. Our team provides pedagogical support for others organizations to help them to develop their projects as well as support to evaluate projects. For these reasons, our target public is essentially composed of relay persons (educators, teachers, syndicates, women associations, students, etc.) who work themselves with a diversity of public. The origin of our public is from inside Europe as well as from other countries. It is important to highlight that a certain mobility already existed in our organization, even so if it has been limited and punctual. As a matter in fact, we are sometimes asked to organize trainings in other countries, but our wish was to be able to develop effective links, knowledge and tools exchanges useful for our public. Therefore, we match with the Europeans criteria for K1 and K2 actions and our short term objective is to increase the quality of learning of our adult public. The project follow-up has been managed collectively, as we have a collective management, which means that all ITECO's team members participate at the daily management of the organisation. Consequently, all projects are supported by every member of the team. Our objectives meet Europeans' objectives relative to lifelong training for adults. For this reason, ITECO has decided to promote its value at a European level by reinforcing its personnel capacity with the training of 3 team members through a request for mobility in the frame of action K1. On one hand, two persons of the administrative and financial sector have participated at the training «Preparation of Proposals and management of European projects under Erasmus+ ». On the other hand, an intercultural trainer has participated at a training on islamophobia and antisemitism. The first training allowed the staff to appropriate Erasmus+ project in order to share it with our team, our organisation, our partners and finally our public. The training has been given in English, which allowed our staff to improve their linguistic skills. The second training allowed the trainer to integrate Coach Around The World methodology, to share tools in our documentation centre and in meetings with the rest of the team, as well as to include part of the reflexions of the training in our programs. These improvements contributed to build an effective development plan linking our objectives with Europeans' ones. In this respect, we submitted, in March 2015, a more ambitious project relative to action K2.
