L'école Algésiras s'ouvre sur l'Europe.
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our project " Algésiras school opens with Europe ," revolves around the school project . It is a continuation of the actions undertaken since 2011 with two schools of Plymouth. We now want to develop the same type of work with other European schools to expand cultural awareness of our pupils about other countries. Its main objective is to make pupils able to open up to other cultures, to be respectful of differences to become european citizens. The implementation of this project will enable pupils : - to practice a foreign language with assurance and motivation - to communicate with European pupils - to develop interdisciplinarity through "TUIC" ( video conferencing , eTwinning platform) and English as a functional language - to master computer tools . There will be two teachers taking part in the course. They have diplomas in English, they participated between 2011 and 2013 in a Comenius-Regio project between Brest and Plymouth teachers on innovative teaching practices and they did a training program Comenius during two weeks at Colchester United Kingdom in October 2011. This new course will cover : - the development of a "DNL" project to implement in our classes teaching English in several no-linguistic disciplines, and our choices are sport and arts - general English courses in international group (oral practice, talk and writing) - a presentation of the British educational school system - two visits of schools : a primary school and the Christchurch college university of Oxford - individual accommodation in families designed to promote cultural and linguistic impregnation. At the end of this project, which will last one year, the expected results are : - for teaching staff : teaching English in several topics, develop alternative teaching methods including the use of "TNI" and video conferencing , - for pupils : a growing confidence in practice of a foreign language, cultural openness and obtaining the A1 level, as defined by the “CECRL” at the end of primary school.
