This year after deciding to make a new project, our school has fairly and clearly determined the teachers who wanted to take part in the EU projects in the first meeting of the term. By taking the opinions of teachers and students, our school has made some assesments in order to identify the SWOT analysis.As a result of this assesment , we have revealed the current state of our school and then we have determined the needs of our organization to be able to perform in EU projects.We have found out that the most important requirement for our project team is to have the ability to use the foreign language effectively. In this direction we have developed a strategy plan, determined the exact targets and we have prepared our school's EU Development Plan in order to increase the quality of teaching and training. To reach the targets we determined in this plan, we have applied for two courses the first course is "Developing Oral Fluency",it is in England and the second course is "English Language, Team Building and Intercultural Awareness for Academic or Non Academic Staff " this course is in Ireland.The number of the total participants are 8.Our organization will take every responsibility . For example; it provides each of us life insurance. Before the course as a preparation, english teachers of our organization will help other colleagues in some subjects such as daily speaking and basic grammar. In order to minimize the possible risks before the course, administrators of the course will inform us about the language, health, security and culture of the city. As we’ll meet a different culture, it is likely that we experience some difficulties. However, they state that they will present us a model of culture that is tolerant, respective and open-minded.At the end of the course, administrators give us a certificate that shows the lessons we attend and they will give us Europass Mobility Document.This course will help us be eager and innovative in the lessons and have different perspectives while teaching and be aware of other cultures. With the aim of sharing the results of the projects, we plan to inform our colleagues and students in the region. Firstly, we intend to inform the teachers and students in our school. We will report the qualifications we have gained after the course. We also plan to write articles in the magazine and web site of the school in order to inform the students and their parents. Moreover, for the colleagues in the region and country we intend to share the experience and information we get through social media such as facebook and social blogs. The experience we get will be spread to large blocks of people through social networking and blogs. Evaluation will be made by the project team. In parallel with the analysis of SWOT we made in the first term, we will make another SWOT analysis once more time to make an assessment after the course and to find the effects of the course. This will enable us to achieve the tangible results. We will take a poll and by getting the results of this poll we will try to find out whether the course responds to the targets we set or not. Furthermore, we will get each participants’ comments on the course by interviewing them. The Project will be performed on the basis of learning and cooperation. The teachers' aims are to improve the basic skills of the students by using the modern methods and techniques. As a result, the students will have an environment where they can discuss, search and think freely. Consequently, people who are able to discuss, search and think freely will be available in the community.
