Kościerski Ekonomik zdobywa nowe doświadczenia w dziedzinie kształcenia zawodowego

The participants of the project entitled: "Kościerski Ekonomik gains new experiences in the field of vocational training" will be the third-year students of technical college technician in food and catering services (15 people) and technician in economy (15 people) of the District School No. 1 in Kościerzyna. They will take four-week work experience in different institutions of catering, business and administration industries in Harrow and London, in the UK. The project also provides weekly mobility of teaching staff in economic vocational training (6 people). The main objective of the project is to increase, through participation in a foreign internship, mobility of people who are at the stage of initial vocational training ( students of technical college) and the experience exchange in the field of vocational training. Professional training institutions identified by the project partner will enable participants to acquire the practical skills needed in the profession, getting familiar with British catering and economical standards. Participation in the project will also facilitate the introduction of customer service techniques, methods of preparing the hall, with the preparation of dishes-made on the basis of the various components, based on the tradition of British cuisine. The project will also support young entrepreneurs who want to start a business in Poland and will show them rules for opening a business in another country, they will become familiar with the policy of human resources, accounting and marketing activities. Thanks to participation in the project students will improve their professional skills in organizing the catering business, entrepreneurship, creativity, ability to communicate in a foreign language and the ability to work in an international team. Teachers will increase their competence in the field of transfer of European standards in vocational training to the local ground. All participants will also expand the knowledge of British culture. At the end of the internship the students will receive the Europass Mobility, an assessment of the internship issued by the employers, and all participants will receive a certificate of participation in mobility exhibited by the ADC College.
