THE COMPETENT TEACHER project aims to train teachers in language skills and handling the modern methods and teaching techniques, modern information and communication technologies to the extent that in the future they could conduct their activities in a way that is not only interesting for the student due to the use of modern teaching methods and ICT, but also teaching them in two languages - Polsih and English. All activities related to international cooperation and training trips abroad will have significant influence on the growth of the qualifications of teachers and improving the quality of teachers work and the school. With increasing language skills of teachers the introduction of English on different subjects will be possible. What is more, the teachers will broaden their knowledge about modern information and communication technologies, what will affect their use of more creative teaching methods and attract the attention of students, motivating them to learn. The use of new computer programmes will make lessons more attractive for students. Language training and ICT training , or CLIL for selected teachers will lead to the introduction of the English language in different subjects , what not only will put our school in a better position among other schools in the area , but also increase students' interests in learning , parents interests in school, as well as provide an international dimension to education . Observation trips for teachers will be the opportunity to watch school buildings and classroom inetrior designs what will result in rearranging our classrooms to make them friendlier and more interesting for kids who should have in their minds that education is not only a boring and obligatory process in their lives. What is more, the teachers will learn more about different cultures, different educational systems, exchanging of good practice and increasing students interest in learning and raising their motivation , what will be seen in their better results of their final exams after the sixth grade . Language skills of students and teachers will increase what will be visible in cooperation with teachers and students from other EU countries in various projects.
